Settlers of Canaan is based on the award winning game design by Klaus Teuber for Settlers of Catan that was Game of the Year in Germany (1995) and Origins Board Game of the Year in the US (1996). The Settlers of Catan has sold more than 3 Million copies worldwide.
Cactus has licensed the right to adapt this award-winning game system for the biblically based Settlers of Canaan. The Game takes place in the territory of Canaan off the coast of The Great Sea. Each player represents a tribe of Israel as they seek to settle the land of Canaan and also to help build Jerusalem.
Redemption fans will want to note that each Settlers of Canaan game box contains two Redemption promo cards: Joshua and Caleb. The only way to obtain these two cards is to buy the board game
